This Cookie Policy explains how BarringtonLuxuryHomes.com (the “site”), operated by Blue Fence Real Estate, Inc., uses cookies and similar technologies. Please read it together with our Privacy Policy.
What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that a website stores on your device. Similar technologies include browser storage, which lets a site keep small pieces of information in your browser, and requests your browser makes to other companies’ servers to load files such as fonts and images.
What this site uses
We keep this to a minimum. The site doesn’t have accounts, logins, saved searches or other features that need cookies to remember you.
Essential. The site doesn’t set its own cookies to work. When you submit a form, the site saves a simple “submitted” flag in your browser’s session storage. It doesn’t contain personal information, and your browser clears it when you close the tab or window. Our hosting provider, Netlify, delivers the site’s pages and processes form submissions, and it doesn’t set cookies when it delivers this site’s pages.
Analytics. We use Google Analytics to understand, in aggregate, which pages visitors view and how they find the site. Google Analytics sets these cookies by default:

Google processes this information under its own policies. You can read how Google uses information from sites that use its services at policies.google.com.
Google Fonts. The site’s typefaces load from Google Fonts. Your browser requests the font files from fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com, which gives Google your IP address, browser information and the page you’re viewing. According to Google’s Fonts FAQ, the Google Fonts API doesn’t set or log cookies.
Images from other providers. Some photographs on the site load from Unsplash and from the platform that hosts our property search. When your browser requests those images, the provider receives your IP address and basic browser information, and its own policies apply.
Third-party services
Links on the site lead to websites that may set their own cookies when you visit them, including our property search on bluefence.com, which runs on a third-party real estate platform, as well as LuxuryHom.com, AstonishingHomes.com and other real estate sites. If a property page includes an embedded video from a service such as Vimeo, that service may set its own cookies when the video loads or plays. These cookies are governed by those companies’ own privacy and cookie policies, not this one.
Managing cookies
Most browsers let you view, delete and block cookies through their settings, and most offer a private or incognito mode that clears cookies when you close the window. Because the site doesn’t depend on cookies, blocking them won’t stop its pages or forms from working. Blocking cookies may affect other websites you visit.
Opting out of Google Analytics
You can stop Google Analytics from collecting information about your visits by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on. You can also block or delete the _ga cookies in your browser settings.
Changes to this policy
We’ll update this policy if the technologies used on the site change. When we do, we’ll post the updated version on this page and change the effective date at the top.
